Bar Attendant (Full Time)

About the role

The Hilton Perth, located in the heart of Perth's CBD near Elizabeth Quay and Brookfield Place, is looking for a full-time Bar Attendant. The role is about mixing and serving drinks to a high standard and making guests feel welcome, within a hospitality workplace that offers development support and career opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Mix, garnish and serve drinks according to recipe standards, ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction
• Stock and organise bar supplies, including beverages, glassware and perishables
• Use the point-of-sale system to process cash, credit/debit cards, gift certificates and vouchers
• Manage inventory and keep beverages fresh and of good quality
• Handle guest concerns professionally, including situations involving intoxicated guests
• Stay compliant with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness regulations

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months of full Australian working rights; sponsorship is not offered
• Based in the Perth metropolitan area or willing to relocate; no relocation allowance
• 1-2 years of bartending or related F&B experience
• Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
• Excellent customer service, communication, attention to detail and time management, especially during peak hours

Required skills

• Strong mixology skills and knowledge of alcoholic beverages
• Familiarity with health, safety and responsible alcohol service standards
