Banking Consultant – Western Suburbs Brisbane

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ's Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless banking experience for customers across the Western Suburbs of Brisbane. You will address end‑to‑end financial needs, hold needs‑based conversations, and guide customers toward digital and traditional solutions that match their goals.

Key responsibilities

• Drive higher customer engagement and advocacy by providing tailored financial advice.
• Participate in bank programs and initiatives that enhance service quality.
• Maintain a thorough “know your customer” approach from a risk perspective.
• Ensure strict compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.
• Provide high‑standard, face‑to‑face service in branch settings, including occasional Saturday shifts.
• Act as a role model and peer coach, supporting teammates to achieve the best customer outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus with a passion for delivering on ANZ’s Customer Promises.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.
• Flexibility to take on casual, part‑time or full‑time hours as needed.
• Willingness to develop product knowledge and meet accreditation requirements.

Required skills

• Knowledge of banking transactions and product suites.
• Familiarity with digital banking platforms.
• Understanding of compliance and risk management principles.
