Banking Consultant – Customer-Focused Role in Perth

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Banking Consultant to join its Perth branch team. You will deliver a seamless banking experience, helping customers meet their financial goals through transactions, personalised conversations and digital education.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with end‑to‑end banking services, including transactions, needs‑based discussions and digital solution guidance.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team to ensure the highest customer experience.
• Drive increased customer engagement and advocacy, creating real value for clients.
• Participate in and support bank programmes and initiatives.
• Maintain a thorough ‘know your customer’ approach from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus; retail banking experience is an advantage.
• Comfortable using and promoting digital channels and technology.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to change and ambiguity.
• Team‑oriented mindset with willingness to collaborate.
• Good understanding of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
