Manager Corporate Tax

About the role

RSM Australia is looking for a Manager Corporate Tax to join a high-performing Corporate Tax team. You will lead a diverse portfolio of tax advisory and compliance engagements across a range of industries, delivering practical, commercially focused tax solutions and building trusted client relationships. You will also mentor, coach and develop junior team members, working closely with Partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client service teams and manage RSM's service delivery to clients
• Provide commercial tax advice, identifying and resolving tax issues together with Partners
• Advise clients on M&A transactions, including structuring and tax due diligence, with Partners and other tax specialists
• Research and analyse case law and legislation
• Review income tax returns and tax effect calculations
• Manage and develop junior staff and deliver in-house technical training to the wider team

Required profile

• 5-7 years' experience in Corporate Tax within a professional services environment, with strong advisory and compliance expertise
• Proven leadership experience mentoring, coaching and developing junior team members
• Degree in Business, Commerce or Finance (Accounting major preferred); CA/CTA qualification or equivalent
• Desirable: double degree in Business, Commerce, Finance or Law with an Accounting major, or a Master of Taxation
