Banking Consultant – Brisbane South Suburbs

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver seamless banking experiences to customers across the Brisbane South Suburbs, addressing their financial needs and promoting digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end financial advice and transaction services to branch customers.
• Drive customer engagement and advocacy through needs‑based conversations.
• Support bank programs and initiatives, including digital adoption.
• Maintain a strong “know your customer” approach from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a role model and peer coach for colleagues.
• Work rostered shifts, including occasional Saturdays, to meet branch operating hours.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused mindset with a passion for delivering high‑quality service.
• Ability to conduct in‑depth needs‑based financial discussions.
• Strong knowledge of banking products and accreditation requirements.
• Willingness to work flexible, rostered hours.
• Team player who can act as a peer coach and role model.
