Azure Solution Architect (Infrastructure & Cloud)

About the role

HCLTech is looking for an experienced Azure Solution Architect to lead the design, governance and implementation of enterprise‑scale Azure cloud solutions. The role combines hands‑on architecture work with stakeholder engagement and technical leadership of engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own enterprise‑grade Azure architectures aligned with business, security and technology requirements.
• Develop and maintain Azure Landing Zones, subscriptions, management groups and governance frameworks.
• Create reusable, modular Bicep templates and establish IaC standards, version‑control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement Azure networking (VNets, subnets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, Load Balancer, Private Endpoints, ExpressRoute/VPN).
• Define security and governance controls using Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault, Azure Policy and Defender.
• Guide cloud modernization, migration and cost‑optimization initiatives across compute, storage, databases, containers and platform services.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing and delivering large‑scale Azure solutions.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Infrastructure as Code, especially Azure Bicep.
• Proven ability to work with security, networking and operations teams and to communicate architecture decisions to business stakeholders.
