Azure Solution Architect - Expression of Interest

About the role

We are seeking experienced Solution Architects to join pending opportunities within large transformation programmes. The role involves working closely with project teams, business stakeholders and technical SMEs to design and govern complex application solutions on Microsoft Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture discovery workshops and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Define solution options, produce high‑level and detailed design documentation, and develop architecture artefacts aligned with enterprise standards.
• Facilitate architecture governance, design reviews and manage technical risks, dependencies and constraints.
• Collaborate with delivery teams, vendors, project managers and subject‑matter experts throughout project delivery.

Required profile

• Baseline or NV1 security clearance in place.
• Proven experience as a Solution or Application Architect delivering complex programmes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, consulting and communication skills.
• Experience in regulated, enterprise or government environments is highly regarded.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure services (API Management, Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, App Services, DevOps).
• Microsoft 365, REST APIs, API‑led design, event‑driven and microservices architectures.
• Integration platforms, middleware, hybrid and cloud‑native solution design.
• Application modernisation, SPA frameworks (React, Blazor), AI/Generative AI, OpenAI integration.
• Data‑driven applications, modern frameworks and composable architectures.
