AWS DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior AWS DevOps Engineer to design, implement and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and automation pipelines for our enterprise platforms. The role works closely with development, operations and security teams to ensure reliable, secure and efficient software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and manage secure, highly‑available AWS environments using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC and IAM.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI or AWS CodePipeline.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning through Terraform, AWS CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
• Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes or Amazon ECS.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot using CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Datadog or similar tools.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployments and integrations.
• Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with organisational policies.
• Document infrastructure, processes and configurations.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Experience with configuration management (Ansible) and build tools (Gradle).
• Solid understanding of monitoring, logging and alerting mechanisms.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
