AV Integrations Project Manager - Venue Transitions

About the role

Encore, a global event technology company focused on hybrid and in-person events, is hiring a Project Manager for Venue Transitions. The role is directly responsible for the successful opening and closing of venues across APAC, planning all project elements and coordinating with other departments so that venues open on time. It involves close work with the Installation team, procurement and state management, and travel to venues as required.

Key responsibilities

• Take designed projects from a closed won opportunity through to final installation, focusing on quality, communication and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate pre- and post-installation documentation for installation, training, budgeting, compliance, acceptance and record keeping.
• Confirm site readiness activities are complete before arrival, especially when provided by a third party.
• Secure delivery and management of equipment to and from site, and negotiate access and storage.
• Communicate with venue stakeholders and Encore teams to set and deliver expectations on installation progress, handling deviations professionally.
• Interpret technical drawings, tender documents, bills of material, scopes, permits and regulations, and build and communicate the move-in schedule with key dates and parties.
• Act as the single point of contact for all transition projects, and coordinate with warehouse, local leadership and logistics for safe equipment delivery.
• Partner with operations and procurement to monitor fill rates and lead times, and with the Installation team, procurement and state management on day-to-day operations.
• Support the closing process and communicate with all key stakeholders; own and monitor the new venue guidelines and checklist.
