Automotive Sales Manager

About the role

A well-established regional dealership in New South Wales is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to oversee vehicle sales operations. This is a permanent full-time position with a base of $75,000-$85,000 and OTE of $130,000-$180,000, advertised by a recruitment consultant. The role suits someone who wants a supportive regional market, good commissions and bonuses, and a schedule of 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with only three hours on Saturday.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales performance for new and used vehicles to meet targets.
• Lead, mentor and motivate the sales team to maximise results.
• Track sales metrics, profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Manage vehicle stock levels and coordinate sales promotions.
• Report sales outcomes and market insights to senior management.
• Foster a professional, customer-centric sales environment.

Required profile

• Solid background in automotive sales management or related roles.
• Previous experience in an automotive dealership.
• Proven leadership skills and strong customer focus.
• Valid Australian work rights; sponsorship and work visas are not accepted.
