About the role
The Automation Developer is HammondCare's technical specialist for automation, AI and workflow solutions. Working with the Automation Delivery Lead and cross‑functional teams, you will design, develop, implement and support solutions that simplify business processes and increase workforce capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver automation, workflow and AI‑enabled solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Dataverse and Azure services.
- Lead the development of enterprise automation capabilities and integrate systems, data and business processes.
- Translate business requirements and process maps into scalable, secure and maintainable technical solutions.
- Implement intelligent automation such as AI‑powered workflows, copilots, agents, document processing and decision automation.
- Establish development standards, reusable components and technical patterns; lead testing, deployment and release management.
- Monitor, support and continuously optimise production solutions to maximise reliability and business value.
Required profile
- Commitment to HammondCare’s Christian mission and values.
- At least 5 years of experience developing integrations using APIs, Microsoft Graph, Azure services and modern integration patterns.
- Strong experience implementing AI‑enabled solutions, including generative AI, copilots and intelligent document processing.
- Deep understanding of business process optimisation, workflow design and automation architecture.
Required skills
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Copilot Studio) and governance.
- Proficiency with Azure AI services and related technologies.
- Experience building integrations via APIs, connectors and Azure services.
- Hands‑on experience with AI solutions such as copilots, AI agents, document processing and workflow orchestration.
