Auditor – Join a High‑Performing Audit Team

About the role

Perks is seeking a motivated Auditor to join its high‑performing audit team. You will work across a diverse client base, supported by senior staff, and gain exposure to complex audit work that accelerates career growth.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake audit procedures on multiple concurrent engagements, building technical depth and commercial insight.
• Create and roll forward client audit files, perform substantive testing, and prepare statutory financial reports.
• Identify weaknesses in client control environments, potential fraud risks, and escalate findings to managers.
• Liaise with clients by phone and email, ensuring deadlines are met.

Required profile

• Completed Bachelor of Commerce/Business or equivalent.
• Working towards a CA qualification.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Professional communication style and ability to work proactively within a remote team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with cloud accounting software such as Xero, MYOB or Reckon.
• Familiarity with audit software like Caseware.
• Basic accounting concepts, including preparing adjusting journal entries.
