Audit Manager – Perth

About the role

BDO is seeking a Manager to join its Perth Audit team, working with a diverse portfolio of public and private sector organisations across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, lead and develop the audit team to ensure successful completion of engagements.
• Contribute to service line strategy and manage service line performance.
• Identify audit and engagement risks, determine appropriate audit approaches and communicate findings to Audit Directors.
• Review working papers, audit queries, correspondence and reports to ensure compliance with audit plans and quality standards.
• Lead and participate in technical consultations.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification.
• At least 4 years of external audit experience within a professional services firm.
• CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership and multitasking skills.
• Previous experience supporting and managing a team.
