Associate / Senior Associate, Real Estate & Development

About the role

You will join Allens' Brisbane Real Estate and Development team, working alongside partners and lawyers across the firm on complex transactions. The role offers exposure to a wide range of sectors, including government, healthcare, infrastructure, media and banking.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on commercial development, urban renewal and infrastructure projects such as office towers, industrial facilities and renewable energy projects.
• Handle acquisitions, disposals, sale‑and‑leaseback transactions and joint‑venture arrangements across all property classes.
• Provide real‑estate advice on leasing, lease negotiations, M&A real‑estate aspects and general matters like subdivisions and financing.

Required profile

• Experience in a real‑estate team within a reputable law firm (or a mix of private practice and in‑house experience).
• Proven track record in acquisition, development and sale of real‑estate assets.
• Ability to manage matters autonomously and collaborate within a team.
• Willingness to engage in business‑development activities such as pitch documents, industry events and seminars.
