Associate Security Support Specialist, Wirespeed

About the role

Wirespeed is seeking a Support Engineer to act as the voice of the customer for security questions, incidents, and product issues. You will collaborate with Product, Threat Engineering, and Security Engineering to turn feedback into improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support via case‑management channels and scheduled conversations.
• Investigate complex customer issues from report through resolution and escalation.
• Work with Threat Engineering on threat‑related questions and escalations.
• Analyze security data, product behavior, and case history to determine causes and recommend next steps.
• Translate technical findings into clear guidance for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Identify patterns in customer pain and feed actionable feedback to partner teams.
• Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, knowledge bases, and customer‑facing content.
• Mentor peers and participate in on‑call or after‑hours support rotation as needed.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in security analysis, incident response, security product support, or related field.
• Practical understanding of common cyber threats and how they manifest in real environments.
• Strong investigative judgment and ability to assess urgency and escalate severe threats.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proven ownership of complex cases and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
