About the role
Reporting to the Head of School, this position leads research and teaching to advance the social and emotional well‑being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Key responsibilities
- Provide academic leadership of the Murrup Bung‑allambee Indigenous Psychology Group.
- Guide the group’s research agenda and promote culturally responsive, decolonial approaches.
- Mentor Indigenous students and staff engaged with the group.
- Advance culturally responsive psychology teaching and practice.
Required profile
- Doctoral qualification and/or recognised significant experience in the relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated experience leading research and teaching in Indigenous psychology.
- Ability to mentor and support Indigenous students and staff.
What we offer
- Remuneration $181,629 – $200,092 Level D plus 17% superannuation.
