Associate Manager, Broker Commissions

About the role

Macquarie is looking for an Associate Manager to join its Distribution Governance team in Sydney. The team ensures broker commissions are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with regulatory and governance requirements, supporting strong broker relationships and the growth of Personal Banking. It works across business, product, risk and technology teams to strengthen controls and improve processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support the accurate and timely payment and reporting of broker commissions while adhering to policy, controls and service standards
• Identify and resolve operational issues proactively, analyse trends and suggest process improvements
• Act as a key contact for broker and aggregator enquiries, building strong relationships and delivering high-quality service
• Partner with project and business teams on the design, testing and implementation of change initiatives

Required profile

• Degree in a highly quantitative discipline such as maths, statistics, finance or computing
• At least 3 years of financial services operations experience
• Delivery-focused, with strong attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness, and a practical risk and controls mindset
• Curious and thoughtful, interested in understanding the wider process and suggesting improvements
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel and databases
