Associate Director, Business Execution (FX & Commodities & Digital)

About the role

The Associate Director, Business Execution will lead the delivery of strategic, operational and regulatory initiatives across FX, Commodities and Digital within ANZ's Institutional Banking division. Working closely with trading, sales, finance, technology, risk and operations teams, you will ensure seamless front‑to‑back execution, strengthen governance and support scalable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse financial and non‑financial performance metrics, providing insights for decision‑making and budget delivery.
• Drive execution of strategic and business‑as‑usual initiatives, ensuring alignment with investment plans and cost parameters.
• Act as a trusted advisor to product heads and senior stakeholders, offering constructive challenge and strategic insight.
• Support the onboarding of new trading venues and manage regulatory change projects.
• Prepare executive reporting, performance dashboards and leadership updates.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business execution or project management within financial services.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across multiple functions.
• Ability to work in a fast‑changing environment and manage multiple priorities.
