Assistant Trading Manager – Retail Leadership

About the role

Join MECCA Chadstone as an Assistant Trading Manager, supporting the Trading Manager in a flagship 2,000 sqm beauty destination. You will help drive commercial performance, customer experience and team capability across key categories such as Colour, Skin and Fragrance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead by example delivering exceptional customer service and upholding MECCA standards.
• Collaborate with leadership peers to drive category, brand and service performance.
• Analyse key performance indicators and support the team in achieving commercial targets.
• Implement trials and innovations through data analysis and continuous improvement.
• Work with concession partners to ensure seamless customer experiences and operational efficiency.
• Coach, develop and support high‑performing teams while contributing to store operations.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years experience managing or supporting leadership in a large‑format retail environment.
• Passion for exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.
• Proven coaching and mentoring experience.
• Ability to think strategically, influence change and build strong relationships.
