Assistant Store Manager - Sunbury

About the role

ALDI is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Sunbury to join the store's leadership team and support the Store Manager in running a multi-million-dollar business. You will help drive sales, motivate the team and deliver efficient service to customers. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Train and coach team members and help develop future store leaders.
• Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in the store.
• Manage stock and inventory and minimise losses.
• Work with the team on registers, filling shelves and merchandising special buys.
• Identify improvements and keep the store running smoothly.
• Run the store while the Store Manager is on leave.

Required profile

• Experience leading teams, preferably in a customer-facing environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and train a team.
• Ability to support the Store Manager and achieve store results.
• Professional, responsible approach and ability to work independently and oversee ALDI policies and procedures.

• Remuneration of $101,500.67 - $107,441.15*, including superannuation and predicted bonuses, varying with hours, location and experience.
