Assistant Store Manager - Repco Berri

About the role

Repco, part of GPC Asia Pacific, is hiring a full-time Assistant Store Manager for its Berri store. The role works closely with the Store Manager to lead the team and manage operations, and sits in a hands-on environment where you help customers find the right parts and support a team that takes pride in its work.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the Store Manager to lead the team and manage operations
• Coach and develop team members
• Live, breathe and role model genuine service for customers
• Act as a safety leader, keeping the work environment safe for yourself, team members and customers
• Set a positive example and often handle opening and closing duties
• Oversee and supervise daily store operations
• Support and develop the team so customers receive outstanding service
• Receive, dispatch and put away stock, including lifting, bending and climbing

Required profile

• Previous supervisory experience, or readiness for that next step
• Retail or trade experience, including sales, wholesale and/or workshop operations
• Ideally mechanical or automotive parts knowledge
• Flexible availability and a valid driver's licence
• Physical capacity to perform the duties, including handling heavy products
• Willingness to learn; automotive experience is not required
