Assistant Store Manager

About the role

Join the launch team for the new Arc'teryx Outlet in South Wharf. As Assistant Store Manager you will support the Store Manager in leading the team, delivering an exceptional guest experience and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support and inspire the team to deliver outstanding service and meet sales targets.
• Drive a culture of accountability, learning and performance.
• Champion visual merchandising, product walkthroughs and sell‑through strategies.
• Problem‑solve across the stockroom and sales floor as needed.
• Foster community engagement and bring the Arc'teryx experience to guests.
• Partner with the Store Manager on hiring, onboarding and team development.
• Support operational excellence, including labour planning and inventory management.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of leadership experience in a retail environment.
• Growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Passion for the outdoors and outdoor gear.
• Strong communication and collaborative leadership style.
• Commercial mindset with strategic thinking and decisive action.
• Passion for people – team, guests and community.
