Assistant Project Manager

About the role
Currie & Brown is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support project programmes and teams across a range of sectors, including education, social housing and commercial property. You will work closely with senior Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the high quality standards expected by our clients.
Key responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with project planning, scheduling and delivery.
- Develop and maintain project protocols, cash‑flow forecasts and order books.
- Track consultant fees, authorise payments and issue monthly progress claims.
- Support client relationship management, ensuring deadlines and requirements are met.
- Contribute to business development initiatives where possible.
- Work under supervision to complete basic requests and follow company processes.
Required profile
- Degree in M&E/Civil Engineering, Architecture or Project Management.
- 1‑3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of construction methodology, trades and elements.
- Positive, ‘can‑do’ attitude and passion for project management.
- Good communication, influencing and teamwork skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MS Word.
- Proficiency with MS Excel.
- Proficiency with MS Project.
