Assistant Night Manager - Front Office

About the role

Pullman Sydney Airport, part of Accor, is looking for a dedicated Assistant Night Manager to join its Front Office team. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will oversee hotel operations during the night shift, keeping the hotel running smoothly while the city sleeps. Working hours are primarily 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including weekends and public holidays as required.

Key responsibilities

• Support and lead Night Audit and Front Office operations during overnight shifts
• Handle guest enquiries, requests and complaints professionally
• Complete Night Audit procedures and daily financial reconciliations accurately
• Manage guest arrivals, departures and room allocations
• Ensure security procedures and emergency response protocols are followed
• Act as the senior hotel representative overnight and make operational decisions as needed
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security and Food & Beverage teams
• Assist with training and development of Front Office team members

Required profile

• Previous Front Office supervisory or leadership experience in a hotel
• Full working rights in Australia
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Immaculate grooming and professional presentation

Required skills

• Experience using Opera PMS (preferred)
• Strong understanding of Night Audit procedures
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and financial accuracy
