Assistant Marketing Manager – ANZ

About the role

ShopBack is looking for an Assistant Marketing Manager to support its ANZ market. You will work at the intersection of commercial and consumer, driving user engagement, retention and reactivation across owned channels while collaborating closely with the Business Development team.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the commercial point of contact for the BD team, launching partner campaigns quickly, on‑brand and with commercial impact.
• Lead planning, execution and optimisation of retention initiatives across the app, web, email and push channels.
• Design and run experiments to improve engagement, frequency, retention and re‑activation, iterating rapidly on results.
• Own marketing initiatives end‑to‑end, from ideation and briefing through launch and performance review.
• Manage stakeholders confidently, including pushing back on scope, timelines or briefs when necessary.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, high‑visibility mindset with no direct reports.
• Comfortable making independent decisions with imperfect information.
• Thrives in a fast‑moving environment and enjoys building processes as you go.
• Curious about AI tools and has a track record of experimenting with new technologies to improve output.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
