Assistant Manager, Front of House

About the role

As the Assistant Manager, Front of House you will ensure seamless service and memorable guest experiences across Chandon's premium Brand Home in the Yarra Valley, supporting daily operations and leading a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily front‑of‑house operations across multiple venues including Restaurant, Lounge, Tasting, Retail, and Events.
• Represent Chandon’s brand and values, supporting management to maintain the highest service standards.
• Coach and support a high‑performing team to deliver memorable hospitality experiences and achieve retail sales objectives.
• Contribute to sales targets through confident product recommendations and promotion of Club Chandon.
• Drive continuous improvement in service standards and guest satisfaction, proactively identifying and resolving operational issues.
• Maintain venue presentation to the highest standards, overseeing facilities and operational readiness.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in a premium, high‑volume front‑of‑house role with experience running service and coordinating events.
• Strong communication skills and natural leadership ability to coach teams and foster a positive sales culture.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high personal presentation, even under pressure.
• Commitment to outstanding guest service, handling requests and complaints with grace.
• Strong wine and food knowledge combined with a comprehensive understanding of hospitality operations.
