Assistant in Nursing (AIN) – Residential Aged Care (Casual)

About the role

Alzheimer’s Queensland is seeking experienced and compassionate Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to join its residential aged care teams at Windsor Aged Care Services and Rosalie Nursing Care Centre. The positions are casual and available across AM, afternoon and night shifts, offering a supportive environment for those passionate about aged‑care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with mobility, hygiene, meals and comfort.
• Promote independence, dignity and meaningful engagement.
• Follow care plans and clinical directions from registered nurses.
• Maintain a safe, respectful and consumer‑focused care environment.
• Contribute positively to a collaborative team culture.

Required profile

• Valid Australian working rights.
• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent.
• Minimum two years’ experience in residential aged care.
• Understanding of dementia care and person‑centred care principles.
• Ability to work AM, afternoon and night shifts, including weekends.
• Current National Police Check.
