About the role

The Assistant Fresh Manager supports the Fresh department in delivering a consistently good shopping experience for customers. This entry‑level leadership position provides hands‑on training through Woolworths' Store Leadership Pathway, preparing you for future retail management roles.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the Fresh department, ensuring product availability and presentation standards.
• Collaborate with other store teams to create a seamless overall shopping experience.
• Maintain safety procedures for team members and customers.
• Support and coach department staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Assist with stock management, merchandising, and loss prevention activities.
