Assistant Facilities Manager

About the role

JLL is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations for its NSW/ACT portfolio, primarily at Macquarie Park and Ingleburn DC. You will act as the main point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring facilities run smoothly, safely, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the Reception Team and ensure service delivery meets client SLAs.
• Manage vendor procurement, tendering, contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
• Oversee financial management, budgeting, invoice processing and cost‑control initiatives.
• Implement preventive and planned maintenance programmes to reduce downtime and repair costs.
• Ensure compliance with fire, health, safety and critical environment (CEM) regulations.
• Track work orders, manage reactive maintenance and maintain data integrity in JLL’s Corrigo system.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits and disaster‑recovery planning.
• Develop and report on monthly financial and operational performance metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, building, business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in facilities, property management, hospitality or a similar environment.
• Experience working in critical environments and knowledge of local occupational health and safety requirements.
• Ability to travel between sites as needed.

Required skills

• Vendor management for specialized services.
• Understanding of building systems: computer‑room air‑conditioning, chiller, fire protection, mechanical & electrical, BMS.
• Strong budget management and financial analysis.
• Proficiency with CAFM/Corrigo tools for work‑order tracking and reporting.
