Assistant Buyer

About the role

Lovisa is seeking an Assistant Buyer to support its Buying team in delivering fast‑fashion jewellery collections worldwide. This fast‑paced position involves range planning, sample coordination, supplier communication and performance tracking, ensuring product ranges are ready for final sign‑off.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain Range Planners throughout the development process.
• Verify accuracy of Range Planner data and prepare it for final sign‑off.
• Update retail prices, quantities and hand over completed planners to the Senior Buyer.
• Track approval samples weekly, provide status updates and check samples for colour, detail, quality and suitability.
• Identify and escalate potential quality issues.
• Prepare approval samples for final sign‑off, including carding, supplier details, cost and margin information.
• Merchandise ranges on the correct fixture ahead of sign‑off.
• Prepare spec sheets as requested and review daily sales performance of assigned ranges.

Required skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Willingness to learn new systems, specifically Futura.
