Assistant Business Manager - Fragrance & Beauty

About the role

CHANEL is recruiting an experienced Assistant Business Manager to join its Fragrance and Beauty counter at MYER in Melbourne. The role supports the Business Manager in leading a team of Beauty Advisors who create experiences for clients, covering all retail activities that contribute to the brand's image and market leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the team's performance and guide it toward results while developing individual talents.
• Empower the team, give support and provide constant feedback to Beauty Advisors.
• Partner with the Learning team to coach and mentor on client experience, sales techniques, service flows, product knowledge and expertise.
• Commit to CRM KPIs and proactively recruit, retain and grow client loyalty.
• Ensure customer details and data are recorded and kept up to date in the company database, in line with the collection and protection of company data policy.
• Manage staff schedules and day-to-day operational zoning to ensure floor coverage and optimal client service.

Required profile

• At least two years' experience in a management role, preferably in a similar luxury environment.
• Relationships focus with a collaborative mindset, strong partnering and influencing skills.
• Coaching ability: listening and empathy, feedback and motivation, performance management and delegation.
• A focus on delivering a luxurious client experience and building a loyal client network.
• High degree of professionalism and maturity in all areas of business.
