About the role

A fast-growing general insurance broker in Perth is looking for an Assistant Account Executive to join its team and help grow the business. It is described as a rare opportunity to transition into broking and learn from experienced professionals. The position is permanent.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist a Senior Broker in managing their portfolio
  • Process new business, endorsements and renewals
  • Maintain compliance and claims data
  • Prepare correspondence
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members

Required profile

  • 12 months or more of recent experience in general insurance
  • Willingness to achieve at least Tier 2 qualification in the short term
  • Full Australian work rights required

Required skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and grow
