Account Executive - General Insurance Broking

About the role

Implicor is recruiting an Account Executive for its Perth general insurance broking client. The role sits within a team of Senior Account Executives and reports to the Executive Account Manager. It suits someone with general insurance experience who wants to start a career in broking.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with driving business development and client retention strategies in designated accounts.
• Work alongside Senior Account Executives and report to the Executive Account Manager.
• Meet key performance indicators including business retention, complaints handling and continuous professional development.

Required profile

• A good understanding of insurance products, legislation, claims, broking technology, dispute resolution and compliance.
• Demonstrated literacy in computer software.
• A stable work history and aspirations towards achieving goals.
• Full Australian work rights are mandatory.
• Preferably Tier 1 qualification, with a willingness to study towards a Diploma in Financial Services; tertiary business qualifications are highly regarded.
