Asset Analyst

About the role

Community Housing Limited is seeking an analytical, outcomes‑focused Asset Analyst to turn complex asset, maintenance and contractor data into actionable insights. You will support strategic and operational decisions across the national property portfolio, improving investment choices, portfolio performance and service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse asset, maintenance and contractor data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and performance improvements.
• Produce evidence‑based insights that inform maintenance planning, capital investment and portfolio optimisation.
• Develop and enhance Power BI (or equivalent) dashboards and reports to provide clear visibility of asset performance, maintenance activity and compliance.
• Support lifecycle planning through asset condition analysis, utilisation assessments and performance forecasting.
• Design contractor performance reporting and benchmarking frameworks to drive accountability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT and system vendors to improve asset management systems and reporting capability.
• Champion data quality, governance and consistency across enterprise asset and maintenance systems.
• Assist initiatives that strengthen asset management maturity, sustainability and cost‑effective service delivery.

Required profile

• Enjoy working with data and translating technical analysis into practical business recommendations.
• Demonstrated experience analysing complex asset, maintenance or infrastructure data.
• Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle modelling, condition analysis and performance reporting.
• Advanced experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar business intelligence and visualisation tools.
• Experience with asset management systems, maintenance systems and asset registers.
