Architectural 2IC – Sydney

About the role

The Architectural 2IC supports project leadership on complex, city‑defining developments, coordinating across planning, façade & roof, bowl, structural and MEP packages to keep the architectural vision aligned with project goals.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and integrate workstreams across planning, façade & roof, bowl, structural and MEP disciplines.
• Identify and resolve interface issues, gaps and dependencies early in the design process.
• Maintain alignment of discipline outcomes with the overall architectural vision, programme and risk register.
• Lead or participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings, design reviews and workshops.
• Provide guidance, mentoring and support to architects and designers.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 5+ years of professional experience in an architectural practice on complex projects.
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage complex interfaces.
• Strong understanding of Australian NCC and relevant standards.

Required skills

• BIM and Revit proficiency.
• Experience with Rhino and Grasshopper (desirable).
• Strong problem‑solving and coordination capabilities.
