Architect/Designer for Major Projects

About the role

Woods Bagot is seeking experienced Architects and Designers to join its Adelaide studio. The successful candidate will work on large‑scale residential and hotel projects that shape city skylines across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver design concepts for a variety of architectural typologies and scales.
• Collaborate with Principals, Project Leaders and multidisciplinary teams to produce considered outcomes.
• Prepare design and technical documentation throughout project stages.
• Communicate ideas clearly through drawings, models and written presentations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to support integrated project delivery.
• Maintain project workflows, timelines and quality standards in line with studio and client expectations.
• Contribute positively to studio culture through professionalism and proactive collaboration.

Required profile

• 7‑11 years of experience in architectural practice.
• Master of Architecture qualification; registration preferred.
• Experience across varied typologies and project scales, especially residential and hotel.
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities.
• Well‑organised with a solid understanding of project delivery processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Knowledge of Rhino (highly regarded).
