Analytics Developer

About the role

Join Jetstar’s Data & Analytics team as an Analytics Developer, building and supporting data products in Airbus Skywise (Palantir Foundry) and Microsoft Power BI. This permanent, full‑time position is based at our Melbourne HQ with flexible working options.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with engineering stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable dashboards, applications and data pipelines.
• Design, build and optimise data models using Power Query (M) and DAX, and develop Skywise/Foundry datasets and transforms.
• Create web applications within Skywise using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Maintain data ingestion from Oracle (TRAX) databases, SharePoint and other sources.
• Write SQL queries and Python/PySpark transforms to clean, join and shape data.
• Support user acceptance testing and document data models, pipelines and report dependencies.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification or current study in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
• 1–2 years’ experience in analytics development, BI or data engineering (including internships or graduate projects).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Curious, eager to learn and able to work both independently and within a cross‑functional team.
