Analyst - Private Tax & Advisory, Perth

About the role

Deloitte Private is seeking an Analyst to join its Private Tax & Advisory team in Perth. You will support a group of Managers, Directors and Partners who advise Australia's most iconic families and private enterprises, including entrants on the BRW Rich List. The client portfolio ranges from high-net-worth individuals and family groups to privately owned start-ups and large, mature trading businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for trusts, individuals, companies and partnerships
• Prepare and review ATO correspondence, including Top 500 and Next 5000 ATO Private Group Reviews and general tax correspondence
• Identify and advise clients on complex or tailored tax and accounting solutions for high-net-worth families and their family offices
• Assist on advisory engagements including estate planning and succession planning
• Act as intermediary between directors, managers and the team, and provide exceptional client service
• Provide technical support and train junior staff

Required profile

• Currently completing CA qualifications
• Prior experience at a Big 4 or mid-tier professional or accounting services firm
• Strong collaborative skills, a dedicated work ethic and excellent communication skills
• A passion for working with private clients and families
