Analyst Lead, Managed Service

About the role

As an Analyst Lead for Managed Services at FIS, you will focus on the operational side of our managed services contracts, working closely with customers, business analysts, product teams and other stakeholders. You will ensure the delivery of high‑quality technical solutions that align with business and IT strategies while adhering to FIS architectural standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all deliveries and development for the payment‑as‑a‑service platform across multiple payment products in a multi‑tenant environment.
• Manage a team of offshore and local developers, providing production support on a rostered basis to meet service‑level commitments.
• Own end‑to‑end project delivery, from requirement refinement and estimation through design, build, testing support and implementation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and external product development teams to ensure quality deliverables and timelines.
• Participate in project enhancement work and ensure smooth transition to the run environment.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in a similar role with Australian working rights.
• Strong knowledge of the payments domain, card schemes and product‑based deliveries.
• Demonstrated people‑leadership, project delivery and technical solution design capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficient in C++ development.
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments.
• Strong SQL and Oracle database skills.
• Perl and Shell scripting expertise.
• Java for UI development.
• Mainframe experience (or willingness to learn).
