About the role
Sigma Aerospace Workforce is recruiting an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Engines Mechanical for a Defence aviation maintenance opportunity in Bundamba, Queensland. The role suits an AME with mechanical aircraft maintenance, engine maintenance or Defence aviation maintenance experience who wants to develop skills and career pathways in a structured technical environment.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical aircraft maintenance and engine-related maintenance tasks
- Support inspection, rectification and component maintenance activities
- Work to approved maintenance data, procedures and safety requirements
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and quality records
- Support Defence aviation maintenance outcomes with a skilled technical team
Required profile
- Aircraft mechanical maintenance, engine maintenance, component maintenance or Defence aviation maintenance experience
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills - Mechanical, a relevant aircraft maintenance qualification, a mechanical trade qualification or equivalent Defence aviation maintenance training
- Australian work rights and ability to satisfy Defence site access requirements
- Based in Bundamba, QLD, or available to work from the Bundamba / Ipswich area
- Ability to meet Defence, security, site access and operator compliance requirements; current driver's licence preferred
