ALM Merchandise Coordinator

About the role

ALM, the liquor wholesale division of Metcash, is hiring an ALM Directs Coordinator to support supplier relationships, product onboarding and trading operations across its wholesale network. This full-time permanent position is based at the Macquarie Park office with a hybrid model of three days per week in the office. You will work with suppliers and internal stakeholders across merchandise, marketing, finance and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage ALM trading terms document processes
• Onboard new suppliers to ALM and lead monthly onboarding seminars
• Manage new ALM product approvals and ongoing maintenance
• Support suppliers with ongoing issues such as invoicing and ranging queries
• Represent ALM on cross-functional projects such as state container deposit rollouts and the Metcash supplier portal
• Manage the Web Portal advertising schedule and achieve targeted investment plans, including on-premise portal

Required profile

• Ability to build effective stakeholder relationships
• Supplier or retailer management experience preferred but not required
• Ability to analyse data and draw accurate conclusions

Required skills

• Data insights and reporting capability
• Intermediate MS Office skills
