Airport Services Coordinator – Operations Support

About the role

The Airport Services Coordinator will join the Airport Operations team at Launceston Airport, providing essential administrative and operational support in a safety‑critical environment. This newly created position ensures that operational teams have the information, systems and processes needed to keep the airport running safely, efficiently and in compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality administrative support, including meeting coordination, document management, reporting, procurement and compliance administration.
• Assist with staff rostering, ensuring adherence to enterprise agreements, fatigue‑management policies and operational requirements.
• Coordinate access requests, support security administration and manage issuance of uniforms, access cards and other operational items.
• Provide reception and administrative relief as needed, fostering a collaborative, customer‑focused team environment.
• Support operational projects, document control and business‑improvement initiatives while maintaining accurate records and tracking compliance activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in administration, operations support, project coordination or a similar fast‑paced role.
• Strong organisational, analytical and time‑management abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills across diverse teams.
• Proactive, self‑motivated attitude with a focus on high‑quality customer service.
• Experience in a regulated or compliance‑focused environment is advantageous but not essential.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
• Experience using Microsoft SharePoint.
