Aircrew Officer (ACO) and Training and Checking Crewman (TCC) - EOI

About the role

Toll Aviation, part of Toll Group, is seeking expressions of interest for residual future positions for Aircrew Officers (ACO) and Training and Checking Crewmen (TCC) for its State Police and Ambulance Rescue Aviation Services (SPARAS) contract. The role is central to a specialist helicopter business providing safe, reliable, mission-critical aeromedical and policing services to South Australian Government agencies.

Required profile

• Minimum of 500 hours of rotary-wing flight experience as a Winch Operator / Aircrew Officer
• NVG endorsement with a minimum of 50 hours of ACO NVIS
• CASA Class 2 aircrew medical
• Ability to pass the Toll Aviation ACO fitness test
• Must be entitled to work in Australia and ready for pre-employment checks including a criminal history check and medical
• Highly desirable: AW139 type endorsement, EMS/SAR experience on AW139, HUET / EBS qualification

Required skills

• Certificate IV in Aviation - Aircrew Officer (AVI40119) or Certificate IV in Airbourne Operations (AVI40225)
• Comprehensive winching, night and IFR ACO FLHS experience
• Dangerous Goods Awareness Certificate
• Aviation Radio Operator License with Level 6 English proficiency
• Excellent crew resource management and communication skills
