AI Architect

About the role

Infosys Consulting is seeking a senior/gen AI Architect to join its Digital Team in Sydney. You will design and deliver scalable AI/ML solutions for enterprise clients, leveraging generative and multi‑modal models.

Key responsibilities

• Design robust AI/ML architectures and select appropriate technologies, frameworks and cloud platforms.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, translate business problems into AI use cases and create compelling solution proposals.
• Develop prototypes using tools such as Gradio and Flutter, and deliver demos, PoCs and technical presentations.
• Optimize model performance, conduct benchmarking and ensure ethical guardrails for multi‑modal data.
• Manage cloud deployments on GCP and AWS, using Python, Jupyter notebooks and related tools.
• Act as SME for vendor evaluation and provide trusted advisory support throughout AI adoption.

Required profile

• Senior or Principal Consultant level with extensive experience in AI architecture and solution design.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams, stakeholders and account managers.
• Strong understanding of generative AI, multi‑modal LLMs and ethical AI principles.
