Agitator & Tipper Driver – South Australia

About the role

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking experienced agitator and tipper drivers to operate concrete agitator trucks and dog tipper trucks across its South Australian readymix and quarry sites. Drivers start early, often between 4 am and 6 am, and may work up to 10 hours per day, delivering multiple loads while providing front‑line customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Operate agitator or tipper trucks to deliver concrete and quarry products to various customer sites.
• Maintain high levels of customer interaction, representing the company’s brand on the road.
• Follow safety technology tools for route planning, load tracking, and driver safety.
• Complete a 10‑day training program before independent operation.

Required profile

• Minimum HR licence (essential) and HC licence for tipper roles.
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment medical, drug and alcohol testing.
• Willingness to adhere to weight limits on certain trucks.

Required skills

• Valid HR and HC licences.
• Proven commercial driving experience.
