Agitator Driver - Scottsdale Concrete

About the role

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a reliable, safety-focused and customer-oriented Agitator Driver for its Scottsdale Concrete team in North-East Tasmania. The role supplies concrete to residential, commercial, agricultural and infrastructure projects, and suits someone who enjoys working independently on the road. Full training is provided.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate a concrete agitator truck and deliver concrete to customer sites
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Ensure deliveries are safe, efficient and on schedule
• Monitor product quality and assist customers during delivery
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records
• Communicate with dispatch, batchers and customers
• Keep the vehicle and work area clean, support plant and yard operations when needed, follow company policies and contribute to the Zero Harm safety culture
• Provide professional customer service and represent the brand

Required profile

• Current HR licence or higher
• Experience operating heavy vehicles
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable, punctual and dependable; knowledge of the local area is highly regarded
• Concrete industry experience is advantageous but not essential
