Agitator Driver – Port Hedland

About the role

Heidelberg Materials is hiring an Agitator Driver for its Port Hedland concrete plant. Drivers operate concrete agitator trucks, make multiple deliveries each day, run the batch plant and interact with many people, acting as the face of the business for customers receiving the product. The role is based at the Karratha Concrete Plant.

Key responsibilities

• Drive concrete agitator trucks and make multiple deliveries throughout the day
• Operate the batch plant
• Interact with customers and other people, dealing with different personalities every day
• Use the company's technology to map routes and track loads safely
• Keep the truck clean and well presented

Required profile

• Minimum HR licence (essential)
• Previous driving experience preferred
• Enjoys meeting people and chatting with them while on site
• Prefers variety in work, as no two days are the same
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also done on site)

What we offer

• Pay of $35.74 per hour plus penalties (1.5x after 8 hours, 2.0x after 10 hours)
• Housing allowance of $650-$750 per week or company-supplied housing
• North-West allowance of $7 per hour
• Non-taxed meal allowance of $150 per week
