Advisory Pre-Sales Solution Consultant - Enterprise

About the role

As an Advisory Pre-Sales Solution Consultant, you will work alongside account teams to help some of Australia's biggest organisations solve real business problems on the ServiceNow AI Platform. You will guide customers from the first conversation to confident decisions, with the freedom to try bold ideas and make a visible impact. The role is based in Sydney or Melbourne.

Key responsibilities

• Dive into the challenges behind transformation, efficiency, regulation and resilience, and shape solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.
• Build live, tailored demos and prototypes using ServiceNow's own tools, rather than relying on slide decks.
• Hold regular conversations with senior leaders and help them define outcomes and business value.
• Partner with sales colleagues on accounts and contribute to opportunity planning.
• Prototype AI and agentic workflows, test what is possible and show customers where it can take them.
• Run proof-of-value and proof-of-concept cycles, and respond to RFIs and RFPs.
• Work across Sales, Product, Professional Services and partners, and hand over well so customers are set up for success.
• Keep up with product releases, roadmaps and the competitive landscape, and share what you learn with peers.
• Speak at executive briefings, events and webinars.

Required profile

• Experience in presales, consulting, solution architecture or a similar hands-on role in enterprise technology.
• Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and strong demonstration and presentation skills.
• A hands-on approach to building and showing how something works.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear, compelling solutions.
• Collaborative style and a low-ego, always-learning mindset.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with AI, automation or low-code tools, and an interest in the evolving AI landscape.
• Desirable: ServiceNow, platform, workflow and ITSM experience.
• Desirable: industry knowledge of key Australian sectors such as financial services, government, telco, resources or retail.
