Administration Manager

About the role

Nutrien's Platinum Operations group, which serves rural merchandise, viticulture, horticulture, broadacre and livestock clients through 12 branches in South Australia and Victoria, is looking for an Administration Manager for its Murray Bridge branch. The role covers accounts receivable and payable, general ledger, asset register and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional and prompt customer service to existing and prospective clients, branch staff and other customers.
• Handle all AR and AP functions in the branch, including debtor management, reporting and collection.
• Review the P&L with the Branch Manager to manage expenses and inter-branch transactions.
• Process journals, maintain and reconcile the general ledger, and manage the asset register.
• Answer phone calls and account enquiries, process mail, filing and invoicing.
• Identify and pursue process and procedure improvements, and complete accounts and policy follow-ups while maintaining the insurance database.
• Follow EH&S policies and help keep the branch compliant.

Required profile

• Previous administration management experience in an office environment.
• Current driver's licence.
• Degree in Commerce, Economics or Business, or equivalent, desirable.
• Knowledge of insurance products is advantageous.
• Unrestricted, ongoing working rights in Australia; background checks may be required.
