Actuarial Consultant

About the role

Marsh is looking for an Actuarial Consultant to join its Analytics Solutions team within the Risk Consulting Pacific division. The role is based in Sydney (Barangaroo) and operates in a hybrid model, requiring at least three days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and apply actuarial modelling techniques to support client projects and advisory work.
• Execute end‑to‑end delivery of client engagements, ensuring quality and timely completion.
• Communicate key insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve business outcomes through analytical and advisory support.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the insurance industry.
• Degree in Actuarial Studies, Data Science, Statistics or a related technical discipline.
• Strong communication skills for presenting ideas to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
